On July 5, 2016, Syrian-born fashion designer Rami Al Ali presented his haute couture collection at the Hotel D’Evreux during this year’s Paris Fashion Week. The pieces showcased in Al Ali’s collection were inspired by the modern elements of mosaic art, and featured intricate embroidery that delicately captured the designer’s overall vision. Our very own STYLE.MASTER Massimo Morello served as Hair Director at this year’s show, supported by our talented KEVIN.MURPHY team members Domenico Toscano, Mirko Krutz, Caroline Kells, Kristina Wolff, Parul Bamrolia, Janika Orav and Ollie Vines.Inspired by the feminine aura of Al Ali’s collection, Morello and the KEVIN.MURPHY team crafted low, smooth ponytails on each model to capture a sophisticated 60’s feel that softly enhanced the natural movement of the dresses. The team used ANTI.GRAVITY, POWDER.PUFF and DOO.OVER to give the hair volume and texture at the crown of the head and finished off the look with a sleek headband to add dimension. The show exuded a feel of modern vintage mixed with classic glamour, complete with fresh feminine details interwoven in the overall silhouette of each look – offering a beautifully alluring display for those in attendance.
